Product Review: Spearmint Tea at Red Bay Coffee
A friend and I decided to hang-out, and she chose Red Bay. I’d never been, so I figured I’d stop talkin’ about checkin’ it out and just go check it out.I finally made it on over to Red Bay’s flagship store. The folks at the Red Bay store at The Hive used to see me a lot, but I’ve had to impose a moratorium on those visits because neither my thighs nor my cardiovascular system can handle those regular pastry purchases.
It was cool. The space is open, more or less, and there’s enough space for folks to hang out, having meetings, or work alone. You can watch coffee being roasted, too.

I went to the counter and ordered my tea, then I paid for it. When my tea was ready, my name was called, then I grabbed my cup from the counter.

The clerk was kind. All the clerks were kind. Unfortunately, one of the clerks petted someone’s dog then began touching the items on the condiment shelf. I meant to say something on my way out. I guess I’ll give Red Bay a call. It’s not fair to avoid mentioning that kind of thing to a business-owner, especially if I’m going to mention it to other folks.
